On the Job w/Key: Beauty Makeover

Happy New Year KbK Blog Readers!!!! I started the year off right today doing what I love again! Had the chance to do a beauty makeover on one of my old classmates, that won a complimentary makeover from our 10 year class reunion this past summer. It was good to catch up and give back to a fellow classmate! 🙂 She was celebrating her birthday and decided to get glammed up for the night. She decided to go for a more “ris-kay” look….something outside of her natural looks that she typically wears (she went for a dark smokey eye and a red lip). In the end we achieved the look that she was going for, and while she was nervous at first, she was very satisfied with the final look, even the red lip 🙂

It felt soooo good to be starting the first weekend of the year doing what I love….seeing her reaction when she first looked at herself in the mirror reminded me once again why I do what I do!!!! KbK is off to a good start…this is going to be a GREAT year!!! Soooo excited! 🙂

I challenge you to try something that you have never tried before with your makeup, maybe a red lip, or a pop of color, or foundation for those of you that are afraid to wear it. Just try something that you never thought you may ever try…and see how you like it. Hey what do you have to lose..I’m up for the challenge..I may even try a red lip this year (we’ll see..lol). Its a new year, so try new things! Let’s make it a good one! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
