Key’s Make-Up Tip of the Day
Are you someone that isn’t fond of wearing foundation or powder on their face like me, but are looking for something that may cover the minor blemishes or flaws that you have on your face? Concealer is the trick!
I just recently starting wear powder foundation on my face and I love it, but there are some days where I don’t feel like putting it on. On those days I pull out my nifty little concealer. If you do not have a lot of blemishes, scars, etc., and don’t need a lot of coverage on a day to day basis, but want some type of coverage? Use a concealer. All you need to do is take a concealer that matches the skin color of your face. Then you can either use your finger or a brush (I typically use a concealer brush). Using your finger or a brush you will then cover your flaws (blemishes, scars, etc.) with the concealer. Then using a fluffy brush you will blend it into your skin (moving the brush in a circular motion). If you do not have a fluffy brush you can use your finger and just pat the concealer into your skin. Make sure not to rub, but pat (or press it into the skin). Since I have started doing this people ask what I am wearing on my skin and they are always shocked when I say nothing but concealer! 😉 You should try it out and see if this tip also works for you!
Some good concealers to buy are the Mac Studio Fix Concealer (about $17) which can be found at your local Mac counter or maccosmetics.com or the NYX Concealer Jar (about $6) found at some local beauty supply stores or nyxcosmetics.com.
